Ibeo Automotive Systems was present at the digital CES 2021

Ibeo took part in one of the largest - if not the largest tech exhibition in the world. The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2021 kicked off on Monday, 11th January and ran until Thursday, 14th January. And Ibeo took part with a virtual booth. If you ask yourself "What does a virtual booth and exhibition look like?", your question will be answered with our impressions.

But let's start with a short overview on this year’s CES and its participants. This year, various companies from e-mobility and future mobility, smart home devices, processors, audio innovations, services and home cinema, all-in-one PCs, notebooks and laptops as well as monitors were there. Just to name a few of the big brands: LG, Samsung, Mercedes, BMW and Sony. Here are some of the new innovations:

  • Sony presented two new CrystalLED-Screens.
  • Samsung introduced amongst other things the new Smartphone Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra with an 8k video resolution.
  • Mercedes relies on a hyperscreen and on AI in its new cockpit update. The cockpit should allow the users to receive information about surrounding buildings.

This is just a really short overview of the presented innovations and new gadgets. Alongside the various companies also different musicians, like Dua Lipa and Will.I.Am, took part in this year’s CES.
But let us start with Ibeos-part. As well as others, Ibeo showed off in a virtual booth, and presented some of our videos and marketing materials. We also offered the possibility to get in contact with costumers.

We hope we could show you a small overview of this year’s CES. Like many others, Ibeo is looking forward for next year’s potential in-person CES. So that the new innovations can be felt with all our senses.
