In the scope of our regular testing sessions on the proving ground, we are always evaluating our latest developments in the autonomous driving software. This week, we’ve been putting a new test vehicle into operation that we want to use for autonomous and highly automated driving. We’ve integrated our software on the vehicle, we’ve also adapted all the interfaces for the vehicle control and carried out first test with the vehicle dynamics. Besides the work on the new vehicle, we carried out tests with the existing vehicles to improve the interaction of the car with other road users such as cars or pedestrians and also the avoidance of static obstacles. This week has been very successful so far and we were able to pass all the test cases that we aimed for.
