Ibeo Automotive Systems GmbH will be co-organising the World Congress for Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) 2021 in Hamburg 

Hamburg, 13 November 2019 – Hamburg’s expert for autonomous driving solutions, Ibeo Automotive Systems GmbH, is a host committee member of the world’s largest trade fair for the digital transformation of mobility and logistics. The committee will function as a board of trustees until the World Congress takes place in October 2021. It comprises leading representatives from the automotive, aviation and logistics industries and the public transport and research sectors.

The Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg will be hosting the ITS World Congress from 11 to 15 October 2021. More than 400 companies from all over the world will be showcasing the latest trends and innovations at the trade fair in Hamburg. Key topics include automated and connected driving, smart infrastructure, urban aviation, sustainable mobility, digital harbour and logistics solutions, and mobility services. The organisers of the ITS World Congress 2021 have chosen the title “Experience Future Mobility Now” for their event, which will enable its visitors to witness new mobility solutions in action. The mayor of Hamburg, Peter Tschentscher (SPD), and the VW Strategy Director, Jürgen Rittersberger, headed the inaugural meeting of the 30-member ITS host committee in Berlin on Monday.

By the time the ITS World Congress kicks off, Hamburg will be a role model for new mobility concepts.
