The cost of producing Ibeo's sensors has been independently calculated on several occasions. The outcome is reflected by Ibeo's selling prices for the ALASCA sensors as they emerge from prototype to the Series Production stage (see attachment). This pricing pattern is further corroborated by current developments.
Sales activities are thus focusing on the Ibeo laser scanner priced at about 380 euros (less than 200 euros for larger quantities).
Furthermore, the company has safeguarded the pioneering and optimised laser technology embraced by the Ibeo sensors by registering more than 50 patents.
